About Us
The Sons of Italy Foundation® (SIF) is the philanthropic arm of the Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America (OSDIA), dedicated to preserving and promoting Italian American heritage through charitable initiatives. Since our founding in 1959, we have worked to provide educational scholarships, support community efforts, and empower future leaders.
The SIF Mission
For more than six decades, our mission has been to uplift communities, support education, and provide meaningful opportunities for individuals and families in need. Through charitable giving, we fund scholarships, educational initiatives, and community and cultural programs that make a real difference in people’s lives.
We believe in the power of unity and leadership. Our efforts are focused on fostering these values through both our local and national initiatives, from supporting the next generation of leaders to ensuring that the Italian American legacy continues to thrive. We have given tens of millions to charitable causes since our founding, including our four national beneficiaries: The Alzheimer’s Association, the Cooley’s Anemia Foundation, the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism, and the Garibaldi Meucci Museum.
